Contaminated Drinking Water is One of the Oldest Known Public Health Hazards

Water Test Kit

Regular users of a water supply can develop a tolerance for the contaminants present within their water supply, while infrequent users may become sick by drinking the same water. Contaminated drinking water can be a threat to anyone’s health, especially young children.

Your samples will be analyzed for the following drinking water contaminants:

  • Total Coliform

  • E. coli

  • Lead

  • Nitrate

  • Nitrite

  • Turbidity

  • Iron

  • Manganese

  • pH

When will I receive my testing report?

The corresponding informational water quality testing report will be issued within your choice of either 2 or 3 business days of sample receipt. EMSL will compare your sample results to national standards that are defined within the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) National Primary and Secondary Drinking Water Regulations.

Test results are for informational purposes only and are not intended to be used for state or regulatory compliance. Federal public health goals as well as state, county, municipal and local health department regulations may recommend stricter standards for the same contaminants. If you require laboratory state certification or licensing, please contact EMSL prior to placing your order so that we can confirm the specific certifications and/or licenses needed.

Can I use one water test kit to test several areas within my home?

One drinking water test kit should represent a single drinking water outlet. If you require testing of multiple drinking water outlets, we advise that you purchase one water test kit for each area. Redistributing test kits to third parties is not permitted. The corresponding informational water quality testing report will be issued to the original drinking water test kit purchaser only.
